Guildhall embrace local community with extremely successful first Preston Makers Market
Saturday 11th February not only welcomed the first Preston Makers Market of 2023 to Preston’s iconic flag market, but it also saw us, Guildhall Sales & Lettings, attend and exhibit at our first Makers Market.
Wrapped up warm for a rather chilly day here in Preston, our fantastic duo made up of our head of residential sales, Chris Dale, and our brand new sales negotiator, Abbie Wilson, headed into town for what would be a day to remember for many reasons, including Guildhall being instructed to sell a property in Spain after meeting the proprietor at the Makers Market.
For those of you that don’t know, the Preston Makers Market, which takes place on the second Saturday of every month (10am-4pm), showcases an abundance of the North West’s finest makers, bakers and creators, from arts and crafts, to food and drink.
With our Guildhall tent standing proudly amongst so many fantastic local businesses, we had a wonderful time meeting people looking to both sell and let their properties. Taking place just three days before Valentine’s Day, we also took the opportunity to showcase our extra special Valentine’s Day competition, with visitors to the Makers Market entering on the day for the chance to win a £250 voucher for the luxurious Low Wood Bay Hotel and Spa in Windermere.
The treats didn’t stop there however, with visitors to the Makers Market thoroughly enjoying taking away one of our very popular Guildhall branded tote bags.
On our tour around the market, we couldn’t resist popping to see some of the other wonderful stalls on show, enjoying some delicious scotch eggs from ‘Mr Murray’s Scotch Eggs’ and Abbie even found time to get a quick portrait.
An extremely busy event, we had an incredibly fun and productive day right here in the heart of Preston, and we can’t wait to be back in March.
